Photo Shoot: Elliana

Kristin and I had fun today.
We spent an hour taking about 60 shots to get these excellent photos.
Of course we have a really good subject.
Tomorrow I'll show you behind the scenes shots - lol
It took longer to crop, adjust and title the pics than to take them!
Mary Karen, if you're looking, this dress was Anyas's - thank you!

And a few black and whites for Aunt L'Ann.

Her shirt says, "THIS IS MY LITTLE BLACK DRESS."

overcast and rainy--a welcome reprieve

This is the first day in weeks--months actually, that I've been able to open my windows! 99 degrees to 68 from one day to the next is amazing--and so welcome, right along with the rain for our parched yards and gardens.

I am enjoying today!

The Expendables

Does anyone care that Sylvester Stalone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger are mature? Not I. This is on my MUST SEE list to see in the theater. It wiped out the Julia Roberts movie for opening weekend at the box office, and rightly so. How long since there's been a really good action movie? And never a flick with all our favorite action heroes together. Demographics say this is a guy show, but wha-a-a-a?

Will you go see The Expendables?

OREGON TRAIL

I laughed so hard when I watched this. The best laugh I've had all week. Our very first PC was an Apple with no hard drive, people. Let me say that again: No hard drive. All the programs and saved files were stored on floppy disks. But we had us an Oregon Trail game, but golly, and we thought we were all that.

I can remember laughing so hard with my kids as we played. The funniest game ever was when our dog, Gizmo, got dissentary and died.  I think I fell off the chair in tears. You'd get a little message that said who was sick and who died, etc., and depending on the fake or real names you made up to play, you never knew who would make it to Oregon.

Oh my gosh. If you're at least thirty, let me know if you laugh as hard as I did.

September Release: CHILD OF HER HEART

Meredith Malone's dreams of motherhood had finally come true…despite the fact that little Anna happened to be a different race than her mommy. To escape the media barrage due to the clinic's obvious mix-up of donor sperm, Meredith headed to the shore…and into the arms of Justin Weber.
